Beverley Allitt is an English serial killer born in 1968. She murdered four children, attempted to murder three other children, and causing grievous bodily harm to a further six. These attacks were carried out over a period of 59 days on a children’s ward where she worked as a nurse. She was in a position of trust and the parents trusted her to take care of their children. She offered condolences to the parents and even became a godmother to another child of one of the parents.
